Cal Ripken League (formerly what we call our Recreational League) baseball program was formed to provide an opportunity for players in grades K-6 to play baseball without tracking league standings or win/loss records. Each player bats in order and will play a minimum of three innings of defense per game. All games are played within the Hillsboro School District. Games are played twice per week with at least one scheduled practice per week. Players grades K-6 are put together by schools whenever possible. No player is denied a spot on a team unless a player registers late and there are no spots available.
